This Hose Barb Fitting screws into the black plastic Eductor which is screwed into the bottom of the Hydorminder proportioner. Remove the original 'screw in' tip holder, then add this fitting in it's place. It allows you to connect a smaller ¼ intake hose. The Barb Fitting doubles as a holder for the Hydrominder 'push-in' style proportioning tips.
